Due to the nature of antiques and their sometimes fragile state we don't accept returns or exchanges. We encourage all shoppers to ask as many questions about a piece as they'd like. We're happy to send additional photos, videos and information about any piece.
If you do not live nearby, Circa 1857 is happy to ship, or work with your preffered 3rd party shipper. Costs vary for shipping, and you should always inquire about shipping prior to purchase. Inquire by email (email@example.com) or by phone 225-387-8667 (call or text).
Short answer, YES! Circa 1857 delivers all over the country. Below are examples of our current delivery charges by city:
- Baton Rouge - $50
- Lafayette - $100
- New Orleans - $150
- Houston - $300
- Birmingham - $450
There may be additional deliver charges if an item has to be delivered to a second story of a building or home.
Typically, Circa 1857 does not purchase inventory from individual sellers. With that said, we're happy to take a look at any item you may be wanting to part with, and make suggestions on how to proceed or who to contact.
Once in a blue-moon we will buy from an individual who can provide appropriate documentation of ownership.
We do not consign single itmes for individual sellers.
Circa 1857 does rent dealer space, but space is incredibly limited and is rarely available.
